Registering
Openings for new scouts varies throughout the year as existing scouts move up to a higher section. When sections are full we maintain a wait list for interested families. We also have an important caveat; Space is always found for the kids of new volunteer leaders. If you are faced with a full section, consider becoming a scout leader, and a Rover scout. It’s super rewarding and a great example for your kids to see you scout alongside them.

Cost
The current cost to register a new scout is $85 dollars which includes registering with the national Baden-Powell Service Association; the group neckerchief; all patches, and a handbook (or uniform shirt if an Otter). Re-registration after the first year drops to $75.

Meeting Frequency
Most sections meet twice a month on the first and third Sunday. Meeting times vary by section. For information specific to each section, please select the section of interest from the toolbar drop down menu.

When Did We Start?
Planned as ideas for a year … Chartered in January 14 of 2014 … Officially started having group activities in August 2016 … First Hullabaloo all-section campout in June of 2014 with four attendees.
